What does this mean in practice for conferences and corporate events?
Our conference rooms have been designed to create an inspiring working environment. Natural light, panoramic views of the park, and state-of-the-art technology all contribute to a setting where participants can work comfortably and productively. We have four conference rooms of varying capacities, suitable for everything from smaller board meetings to conferences of up to 160 delegates. Movable partition walls allow the spaces to be flexibly configured for workshops, training sessions or larger professional gatherings. We also offer full technical support: video projectors, professional sound systems, microphones, high-speed Wi-Fi, and complete blackout capability.
How important is the experience factor in today’s corporate events?
Exceptionally important. Companies are increasingly recognising that team cohesion and human connection are strategic priorities. As a result, experience-driven programmes now play a prominent role alongside traditional conference elements – and this is an area where the resort genuinely excels. We have our own six-lane bowling centre with a bar and lounge area, as well as billiards, darts, table football and table tennis. Within the grounds, tennis, five-a-side football and a range of outdoor sports activities can also be organised. The wellness facilities add considerable value to corporate events as well. The thermal pools, sauna landscape and panoramic Finnish saunas provide the perfect opportunity for genuine relaxation following a full day of professional programming.
The resort also offers distinctive outdoor venues for corporate events. How popular are these?
Increasingly so. Companies appreciate unique, memorable settings. The amphitheatre within the grounds, the lakeside areas, and the La Piazzetta environment all lend themselves beautifully to gala dinners, corporate receptions and networking events. We are also open to bespoke concepts. We have hosted private pool-side events, themed incentive programmes and exclusive evening functions. That level of flexibility is a significant asset in today’s events market.
What advantage does the resort’s location offer?
A very considerable one. Körmend is strategically situated close to both the Austrian and Slovenian borders, making us easily accessible not only for Hungarian companies but for international clients as well. Dedicated on-site parking, electric vehicle charging points and a Tesla charging station are also important considerations for today’s business travellers. Beyond logistics, the natural surroundings contribute greatly to the overall experience our guests receive.
